Children’s Enrichment Center

This very unique 50,000 square foot early childhood development center utilizes a Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) system with dedicated outside air. The system consists of 90 tons of outdoor condensers serving 59 indoor fan coil units through 5600 linear foot of refrigeration piping.

Air to the indoor fan coil units is provided by two – 100% outside air through 26,000 pounds of duct and building exhaust is provided by four – 2000 cubic feet per minute roof mounted exhaust fans. Daily operation of this facility is supported with 151 plumbing fixtures. This includes

  • water closets
  • hand wash sinks in each classroom
  • staff restrooms
  • public restrooms
  • full-service kitchen with a 1500 gallon grease waste interceptor
